Today was mostly spent planning and getting everything together then taking some trial shots then trying to take the final pictures. I have taken the corner picture but I don't think it really made my vision come to life.
I realise that I never showed a picture of the original painting, Morning Sun by Edward Hopper.

These are the trial pictures:
The model did great work in trying to accommodate to my requests especially with such short notice and my terrible explaining skills, but I don't think it really turned out the way I wanted it to. These are the various "final" pictures.
The minimalism is still incorporated into the picture but maybe I needed to include more opposing factors. As opposed to the pensive and ambiguous face shown in the painting, the model's expression sometimes even seems to show laughter. Also, it is not morning but evening in the pictures with the artificial light being the only light source. It is supposed to show that we believe we are happier and better off with the new technologies and such being created but in actual fact it is all just faking (a mask we are putting on) and these new developments just add to our stress and feelings of loneliness and this is how I believe we live nowadays. We are all like puppets controlled by the technology we created. We are ready (dressed) and willing as we are used to it and welcome it with open arms. We are stuck in a corner and most of us barely go into nature or appreciate it.
I still want to take the other pictures but will have to do it on the weekend when it hopefully won't have rained and the sun will be shining. This one has more to do with nature and the outdoors so it very much depends on the weather. If the weather isn't good then I will need to improvise but I have ideas on how to do that.
