Work over the break

I haven't really talked much about what I did during the break so I wanted to dedicate a post to that. I think what is in here is mainly what I did, at least what I can remember doing, during the two weeks we were away.

During the break I found a lot of movies (documentary ones) to watch so that I could see how documentaries are filmed however, I didn't watch them but I will definitely make myself watch them before the end of this project.

What I really did was more research into documentary techniques (trying to learn how to 'capture stories'), make consent forms, create a storyboard, set up interviews, write the interview questions, take pictures, practice doing things (using Zoom and asking questions) and stuff like that.

To limit the amount of information I took from the interviewees and to try to respect their privacy (since this is just a tiny production that is going nowhere) the consent form doesn't ask for too much information.

I wrote down some notes that I would use to say to every participant.

In conclusion, I need to properly document my work, research things and make sure I am on track with my action plan. These next two weeks, I have a lot to do, so I better make sure that I am doing the work well and documenting it properly.
