At the beginning of the day I still had a lot of work left to do, editing the mock film, doing more research, updating my blog with the previously mentioned work, contacting the interviewees about the interviews and the box video, promotional work, thinking about displaying my work, doing the EPK and the critical review. As well as this, I realised that I needed to redo my OneDrive FMP folder layout because I was told it was necessary to have it in a specific way for the submission. Since then I have done some of the things. I talked with my tutor and she reminded me that I need to evidence the creation of my final product and put all the work I have produced on my OneDrive. I realise that most of my blog is just words and not too much imagery, I will try to go back and see if I can add images and better descriptions to places, I will make sure to at least photograph all my notes. I would put them in their respective blog posts but there aren't a lot of actual written notes because of the reduced amount of time we have actually been inside the school. All of my notes are turned into their own blog posts but it is still good to show how they were written. While we weren't physically in school I still made notes but I made the notes digitally and uploaded them to my OneDrive, they were mostly meeting notes anyway. I need to look back because I can't remember whether I have shown evidence of my tutors reviewing my work in my blog.

I missed the meeting yesterday because somehow I forgot we had meetings on Mondays after just one bank holiday. As far as I can remember it is the first time I have missed a meeting and today is the first time I have been late.

I think for the final film I should create little profiles of the interviewees which might include things like Preferred name, Age, Nationality, Languages known, Birthplace (?), Times moved (?).

The meeting today was just really going over the submission requirements. When I first read the email with the requirements I was confused as to how much needed to be analogue and whether we would have to print out all of our work, it turned out that that is not the case. We only need to print out the essentials and order our One Drives. The document details everything I need to have and what needs to go where.

At 2pm we had another submission meeting, these are my notes. Instead of the usual exhibition, we will just do small presentations if even that. This submission reflects everything we have done, how we use materials and processes, how we respond to tutor feedback etc.. The submission marks the end point of project, below is the timetable for the rest of the project:

The assessment is an examination and all aspects of it should be treated as such, we should not forget that as it has to be treated seriously. It needs to be well prepared, documented and organised. It is important to go over the FMP folder on myUCA because there is now a critical review folder which we have to use for our final review. The hand-in is at 3pm on Friday (the next one) Physical things need to be carefully labelled and digital back up is important.

I think compared to what I did last year and how it went, I have improved by so much and done so much better, I think this is really thanks to my tutors who helped me so much and encouraged me to test and do new things and helped me better formulate ideas. I am really grateful for that. I think compared to last year, I will be quite proud of the work that I create at the end. I believe that if I work really hard I will be able to complete everything I want to complete. I need to not forget to make trailers because they will be nice to have.
