Seminar 3

Monday 11th January 2021

Today, we had our third seminar in our specialised subject groups. We talked about our progress so far with the stage 2 part 2 project and also about UCAS applications. I had previously said that I had no intention about going to university and just wanting to get a job straight away, however my mother convinced me to consider university as a back up options and I realise that this is a good idea. The ideal would be a degree apprenticeship in education, however I could not find any anywhere so the next option would just be to work towards a bachelor's degree. However, I have specifically chosen to go for accelerated courses instead of full 3 to 5 year courses so the course I would choose would be 2 years. There is obviously a possibility that I don't get accepted into any universities but that is the risk of life (c'est la vie as is commonly said). I am still going ahead with my first plan/idea but this is an added section to that. I have applied for education degrees and they are all pretty similar, to get on track, I have already finished the application what with making this decision only recently. All I have to do now is to make the recommended adjustments to my personal statement and send the application of to be reviewed by a tutor so that I cam get a reference from them.

So far with my project, I think that I have everything I need to get it done with, I just need to upload the rest of the research and the weekly evaluations and start filming and editing. That might seem like a lot, and it probably is. Below is a bit of the planning and thinking I have been doing related to the project.

I am going to start filming tomorrow because I have the plan and everything prepared, as far as I can think of. I have the props (the objects), I have recorded the audio, I know what text I need to write in the editing process and I have the camera ready.
