Meeting

Monday 1st March 2021

The meeting was about discussing what I should be working on this week and what I should be developing for the Final Major Project. This week stems from the background work that we have been doing.

Right after that meeting would be our 1 to 1 tutorials about the assessment of Stage 2 but this week we need to complete the 'Assembling Identity' sheet and create a mood sheet/mood board of our development as a response to that(exampled below).

Think about this week, taking our self evaluation 'Assemble identity', taking the list and produce research and mood sheet of your identity, just a visual evidencing of identity, interests, ways that you work, themes and concepts you like to explore and designers and influences you have (creative brain storm).

Maybe not only mood boards but also PowerPoints and graphs, test and experiment new skills, drawing from your research, thinking it through and producing work from that. All this as well as writing proposal. It is about documentation, exploration, thinking and researching.

On Thursday we will get the next sheet which is 'Directing Decisions', moving from last one with research, development, context and contextual research. It is about starting to say where you would like to take your project and develop your proposal

We will also have a session with Antonia Lewis on Thursday which will help with extending and developing from the assemble identity sheet, she will be going though Harvard referencing and bibliography too. Harvard referencing helps put you forward for your degree as it enables research to be properly referenced.

We will be working online until Easter holidays, we can ask for help with technical work.

I think I need to look at myUCA some more.

You actually have to be creative with your thinking and not just document things (filling in forms). The preparation for the project proposal completion should be creative and intellectual, both technical and experimental research and also contextual and conceptual.
