JM Adobe Photoshop Workshop

Yesterday we were given the task to complete the Adobe Photoshop Workshop made. I started the workshop yesterday but finished it today. It was very fun and interesting to do. I tries my best to recreate it with my own twist and style. I didn't want to make it too complicated because I like things simple. It wasn't something that I had ever experimented with before but I liked it.

Below is the original image in which we took inspiration from and tried to take techniques from and make our own.

This is where I am trying to erase the bottom half of the cartoon so that I can fit it onto my body. I shrunk the faces too just because.

I layered the four pictures and then added the blur tool and lighten tool to try and make them look more like the same picture and colour.

I mean, it looked better in Photoshop and with tired eyes. I think I could have tried to make the background picture lighter, that would have made it better.

I feel like it can be looked at as a sort of "postcard" or photograph of like a "message in a bottle" type of thing, at least that is how I would relate it to memento. It was also just really nice to experiment, learn more and do more with Photoshop and in the workshop. In my opinion, I think the workshop went fairly smoothly and it wasn't too hard to complete it this way, though the old way wasn't bad and is actually much better, but we have to adapt with the way things are so it's alright.
