Today we realised as a collective that the idea we had had already been created and it was amazing so it was back to the drawing board. We came up with ideas but at least one of the 'important' people would object. Some even thought about going back to the hologram idea but C thought it was a bad idea but then, A came up with the idea of contact lenses that could read people's emotions and it was appreciated by 'them', however in my head I thought that maybe we shouldn't do it because that was one of our initial ideas that was brushed over.

We had a meeting with one of our tutors and I think it went well, in my opinion, I had thought that this new idea was a lot better than the other idea. And you're probably thinking, 'If you have so much negative stuff to say about other people's ideas, why don't you come up with a few yourself?' Well, let me explain, I came up with a lot of ideas and voiced around 70% of them but people either didn't like or pretended that I hadn't spoken. In all fairness, maybe I wasn't speaking loud enough so they didn't feel like listening but either way, I don't actually mind, as long as the people who want to make the final decision actually make a decision, I will go along and help them as a team member should do. Anyway, during the meeting A convinced me completely to follow her idea, it was not only like the initial idea, it was so much more and if it was real, it could be really helpful to so many people. However, our team leader was still a bit skeptical. In the end, after the meeting it was proposed that we also add goggles to the range of eye-wear our brand would be creating. I guess we have sort of come to a compromise but I am still not sure as my team doesn't seem to be able to communicate in the most understandable way for me. Some of the time it seems like a civil war between the males and the females but part A of each group is fierce, part B is subtle and part C is Switzerland. I am part of part C that is neutral and prefers not to get too involved in disputes within a team.

An off topic note, did you notice that I had spelt sceptical in the American spelling above? That is because I just prefer it that way. If I have enough time tomorrow, I will write more specifically about the different ideas we went through and what the contact lenses and other eye wears would actually do but tomorrow we have a trip so I am not sure.
