Today is the official deadline for the three things we have been doing this week : Sandwich board, CoppaFeel campaign posters and Adding foley to a silent film. As I had already done the other two, I focused all my effort into completing the silent film project which I successfully completed just before break ended. Of course, there is a lot more that can be improved upon but I feel like I have done it quite well.
Now that I have finished that, the next thing to do is to experiment with font and see how it can help with the big moving poster project. During the morning brief, I noted down some possible fonts, here they are below:
Gotham
Helvetica - widely used
Arial - bastardised Helvetica
Futura - made by Bauhaus
Bodoni - used in fashion
Banco - used for THRASHER
Comic Sans - widely hated
Gill Sans - made by Gill
Franklin Gothic - useful to fit lots of words.
Since my main focus is just recycling, I think it would be better to be more concise so I think that I might focus on fashion and waste and try to raise awareness about reusing materials to reduce waste for today. (http://www.wrap.org.uk/content/clothing-waste-prevention
Below is my Silent Film Foley Project - it sounds better with earphones on I think.
