Friday 6th December 2019
I feel like today is a milestone for some reason. It is not even my Golden anniversary yet. The days seem to pass really quickly.
Today, the focus given to us was to update our blogs, I am really grateful for this because I hadn't published any blog posts the whole of this week, though I did document stuff and I had started a blog post. Now that I have caught up I am really happy.
I haven't read through my blogs in a while so I am not sure what has been written and what hasn't been written. Although, I don't think it matters if I don't write everything on my blog because I have still documented the stuff on a work document and printed the information that happened up to last week Friday and have hand-written more stuff to type up.
We have a lecture later but I will publish this now and update it sometime after the lecture.
The lecture was on the origins of photography. It was really interesting but the lecturer went too fast so all could really get were some names. Here are some people who have to do with the origins of photography:
Alhazen
Leon Battista Alberti
Nicephore Niepce
Louis Daguerre
William Henry Fox Talbot
Roger Fenton
Philip Henry Delamotte
James Robertson
One thing I learnt about the origins of photography is that it is quite vast.
