Today has been really fun. First we were split into groups and because I was in the second group, the first thing I did was make random posters in Adobe Photoshop. The one thing that I had found really hard was coming up with design ideas. We were given a colour palette, a specific font to use, a creative style and a topic. The topics were in this order : Water, Sky and War. It was really fun to do. Here they are :

After break, we were doing life drawing. It wasn't bad, it was quite nice to try to improve my artistic skills. I really liked to experiment with the different materials. During the life drawing, time really flew by for me. To be honest, I made so many mistake but I tried to cover them up. I don't think that I got what I should have from the exercise. I didn't improve my drawing skills - in fact they seem to have gotten worse - but I did seem to reflect my state of mind into the main image. Really, is a good piece of art one that neglects the subject but reflects the artist's viewpoints or one that expresses and shows the emotion of the subject? I am not really sure. In terms of my drawing skills, they can become better with practise and I am about to venture into improving this. I feel that through this image, I showed how I feel that often men are big influences around me but they shouldn't be (it's hard to explain what I mean), maybe I should have instead portrayed the model as a slab of meat that is tired. I feel that what have been more useful would have been if I thought about what I was doing wrong and how to improve while I drew, but I didn't. One thing I realised it that while creating a piece of art, it would be really beneficial to be completely conscious and fully think about what I am trying to create.

During Lunch I decided to try and improve my Adobe Photoshop skills. I saw a really interesting picture, took a screenshot of it and edited it. Here is what it looks like :
