Today we were given the task to make an installation and then draw it (or in CMPT's case photograph it) and attempt to create depth, looking at the cityscape part of our project. So we made a sort of trash city and then were given little people. The photograph had to be in black and white and we were only allowed to take 12 pictures so we had to think about where we thought was best place to take our pictures. In all honesty, I thought that taking 12 pictures was quite a lot but when I actually got to taking the pictures I ended up with 13 but Ms G said it was fine.
It was really cool and I really liked trying to find a good place to take the picture to make it look like there was depth and also to deceive the perception of the onlooker.
I tried to add to the structure that we were creating. I made some paper chains and drew some eyebrows on a box. I also moved some things. I tried.

There were a lot things that went into the structure but I'm not sure whether thought was one of them. We tried our best, after all most of us chose CMPT because we can't do Art. Some of us saw the work of the Art and Design students, me being one of them, it was quite amazing. We tried to create something that was something, I think.
Below you can see some of the photos that I took.
I think in black and white the structure is a bit picturesque. We were put into three groups, one group would be in the dark room while the other two would be working on the installation. Later on, I will be going to the dark room to do a workshop but I think that would be after lunch.
