Today we finished our work on our 4x4. At the end of the 4x4 we were supposed to have 17 artists but I only have 7 because it was quite hard for me to find poster artists that were relevant and I think that the initial poster that I used was difficult for me to analyse.

After that we were tasked with creating a piece inspired by one of the works. I chose to create a piece of art inspired by Victor Moscoso's 'The Miller Blues Band' poster. I liked the line effect and tried to work with this, I also liked the silhouette of the person which I perceived as a regular shape in an irregular form. Using this as inspiration, I decided to take a picture of cute looking dog that barking. The text I used was 'Rockin' because of the different meanings; cool and to do something in a way that you like. This because the dog is transformed into a cool creature and no longer looks as aggressive. I cropped the image and made the dog bigger on the picture and then separated the background and the dog, giving them different effects. Here are the before and after pictures as well screen shots taken along the way:
After I had done this I had some time so instead of refining my work I decided to create another piece, this one was inspired by Raymond Savignac's Bruna poster for a beer advert. Following this idea, I decided to create a speed gag advert. It took 10 minutes longer than I thought it would. It is not great but I like the idea. I first had to draw out the tortoise but it didn't become a layer so I had to screenshot it then edit it. Anyway, I think the outcome has some potential. It includes to things that I am interesting in but haven't had much interaction with. I like tortoises and would love to have one as a pet but I have only met one once when I was younger and I have never been to 7-ELEVEN but I would love to go to one someday. I really don't know why.
